You only need one of these per stack. I have purchased extra should I want to create a mixed size stacks to my gaming session and still have one to keep the dust out of the otherwise open stack(s).

It is totally stackable with Project Boxes 8 and 9 and Allen's new 4 inch depth box that matches project boxes 8 and 9. I suggest at least one to top off your stack to keep dust off your painted armies while stacked on your shelf between games. These boxes and top provide a nice fitting lock that keeps the boxes from shifting. Easy to assemble and the use of this top is highly recommended to "top" off your stack!
