Each shelf has a .5" lip at the front and the back to keep things from rolling off as well as making the shelves much stiffer so they do not bend under the weight of what they are carying.
This fits right over your paint racks and adds useful shelfs above your paint racks.

A great way to store "extra" paint.
I bought two of these to straddle paint racks that hold my Scale75 paints. I use them for the Citadel Contrast and Shade washes that I use in concernt, and for the Texture paint and the few GW pots of colors I use often. Great product but I do wish there was some sort of "locking" mechanism that might more firmly attach the shelf part to the rack part. Nothing a drill and screw, or any number of other easy options cant fix though.

Nice way to get some use out of unused space.
This is a nice add-on for any of the paint racks you might have purchased. It makes good use of any wasted space above your paint racks. I purchased both the 3 & 5 shelf trays. While 5 shelves are nice they are a little small (height wise) for my tastes and much prefer the 3 shelf version.

2 Paint Racks for Tamiya Color 10Ml & 2 Shelf Units for Paint Racks Version 2
This is the second set of shelf unit bought for the Testors 7.4 Ml Sqr. bottle. Because it first went together so easy. I ordered the other two for the rest of my paint. When they arrived their was a problem instead of sending the racks as I ordered I got two drawer units instead. When I called to see about how to send them back and get correct item sent out. The owner said he was sorry for the mix up. And he would get the correct racks sent rite out and I should get them in two days and not worry about having to returning the two drawer units at no charge. This shows me this company takes care of their costumers, what he did and said, and how he said it you new he was not talking out the side of his mouth. When it is time to get some of the type prods he sells I Know where to get them. Thank You.

Fantastic add-on to the paint racks.
I purchased two version 1 shelf units and one version 2 unit to accompany the three GW paint racks in my last order. The additional storage is great and the footprint is just right for my painting area. The units are sturdy, well-crafted, attractive, and go together easily without instructions. I opted to not attach the front lip pieces on several of the shelves of the version 1 unit simply because I found it easier to access GW paint pots stored on the shelves. I would highly recommend Gamecraft products to anyone.
