Entered service in the 1980s as a reply to the rocket-heavy N. Korean forces. The system is based on the KM809A1 6x6—a license-built variant of the U.S. M809 5-ton truck. 36 tubes fire individual or salvoes of 130 mm rockets. A total of 150 vehicles entered service but are being phased out; 50 were transferred to the Philippines.
