I base everything on these
Oddly enough, not much to say considering they're just a base, but I use them to the exclusion of everything else. They offer the following advantages: 1. They're pretty darn cheap, grabbing a 100 of them isn't going to break the bank. 2. They're a good thickness. On thinner bases, it always feels like I'm slowly defoliating them every time I pick up the miniature. On the gamecraft product, they're in a sweet spot that's thick enough to handle, without being so thick as to tower above the gameboard. 3. Quality of product. They're all uniformly sized, take glue and paint well. The wood is also a lot more gentle on the tabletop terrain than metal or plastic bases.
