    battletech game hexes

    We are currently using 1.5" hex grid maps for battletech. In our game system we paint these hexes in light and dark green to denote light and heavy wood hexes and place them under a Woodland scenic tree. This makes it easy to note the type of woods occupied by a unit. We also plan to use these to represent rivers and also rough terrain.
