Simple and effective
GCmini's road system is very well thought out. These roads arrive with the road beds and sidewalks as separate pieces. I paint them up separately, with a base coat of black on the road, and gray on the sidewalk. I then mask off the sidewalk portions of the road bed, and apply a texturing spray to both the road bed and sidewalk. Once these are applied, I glue the sidewalks to the road bed, paint lines (GCmini offers a useful stencil for this), and seal it all up with a spray coat. Great product!
