a.k.a. FAW MV3. Entering service in 2011 the FAW series has acted as a replacement for a variety of older vehicles. Able to transport from 20 to 30 troops—or alternatively 5 tons of cargo—cross- country, or up to 10 tons on roads. Intended as a forward supply and transport vehicle, cross-country performance has been emphasized. The vehicle has additionally entered service with the North Korean military.
