Beyond basics
This was the first matboard kit I tried that wasn't just 4 walls and a roof. I ordered two, and the first one went together fairly quickly, if not perfectly. The balconies were a bit tricky to install, and could probably benefit from a locking tab on all 4 sides instead of just on 3 to help the trim parts align easier. The roof also could use a locking tab on all 4 sides as it was difficult to get it aligned straight. I was able to use the lessons learned on the first to make the second one turn out noticeably better. I like the way they turned out though, and would certainly like to see taller or wider versions available. I can see adding more of these to my gaming table easily.

The GCM matboard buildings are great. They go together pretty easily and quickly, and look great for their size. You can use a small textured spraypaint on them and make them look decent, plus get some of the blue backing from here to give it windows (and maybe light up the inside if you wanna). The only negative thing I could say about these buildings is they would require a bit of filling in after to hide the grooves for assembly.
