Fully compatible with the GameCraft 285th scale Modular Road System 2 lane roads.
This amazing model is 29.1" (740mm) from end to end with fully assembled. Each approach is 9.7" and the center span is 9.7". This model will be at home in WWII settings as well as modern settings. The bridge design is actually loosely based on a bridge that is in everyday operation today in the city of New Orleans, Louisiana, the Claiborne Avenue Bridge.
Model is precision cut from the highest quality mat board (as used in the picture framing industry), this is not flimsy paper, this is stiff mat board. Model goes together quickly and easily using common white glue or “Tacky glue” and can be painted to any level of detail you desire or simply sprayed one color so you can get back to gaming.
This model goes together easily but not quickly and is not for someone unfamiliar with working with MatBoard, I recommend this kit for experienced modelers only. You will need to take your time and assemble it very carefully. The "steel beams" are very thin and fragile until it's all assembled and then it gains strength. You can build the model with the bridge in the lower position or the upper position or as I have, put a few scrap pieces of plastic protruding from the towers for the bridge to rest upon and have more than one possible position.
