This double unit is perfect for aircraft, large vehicles and some scenery items. It's even suitable for carrying miniatures larger than 1/285th scale. Stack as many Tank Transports as you like and carry then as one sturdy unit. The smaller single transport units stack on top of this unit end to end, so you can have a few of these double units and then a bunch of singles on top, all in one sturdy stack.
This kit includes the wood pieces only, you will need to supply the foam of your choice if you want foam inside.

I have two of these I use for aircraft. They also have 2 sub-dividers splitting the area into 3, and adding strength. If you used a magnetic sheet on bottom, or just a sheet of sheet metal from lowes and magnetized bases, this could be a great system for transporting miniatures from many other games as well. It is also great for storing 15mm vehicles and figures. Some various options for foam with 1" cutouts or whatever would be nice, and maybe some varying sizes of dividers that could separate aircraft based on rotor diameter or something. 1 can hold another, plus a dozen of the regular tank transports on top and still feel pretty solid.

Great way to store crazy sized stuff
The tank transport system is great. This allows you to stack 2 standard trays on top of it. You can fit anything in there you need, and it came with a few horizontal dividers (that probably help with strength if stacked too high). Great system, though I apparently forgot the foam base. You do have to assemble it, and its pretty large, but it works great and carries lots of planes. It would be easy to magnetize and use for 28mm figures as well.
